Cellulous insulation can be blown in over fiberglass

Dear Glenn: Our house was built in 1968. At the time, there was some problem with obtaining some types of insulation. It was supposed to be insulated with batts in both side walls and ceiling. But when it was time to start dry walling, they could not get the thick batts for the ceiling, so they put up the drywall, then blew in fiberglass insulation. By now, there has been quite a bit of settlement in this insulation.

There is also a problem in the soffit area along the roof line because the insulation blocks air flow. From what I have heard on your show, I could have cellulous insulation blown in over the fiberglass, and some kind of baffle should be installed to allow proper air flow. Do you know any good contractors who would do this type of work in my area?
