Easy-to-do application removes streaks on roofs

Dear Glenn: Our association has several villas with streaks on the north sides of their roofs — not all, but a good many. I'm wondering if this is a fungus of some kind that can be treated from the ground with a spray of some sort. Thanks in advance for any suggestion for taking care of this problem.

Dear John: There is a good product on the market for your problem. It is called Wet & Forget, (888) 727-8524, www.wetandforget.com. Just apply Wet & Forget to the roof, and as the name says, forget about it. No rinsing needed. Let the winds and rain clean the surface.
