Call water conditioning specialist for salt-free water alternatives
Dear Glenn: I have been hearing advertisements on the radio recently for a water treatment system called Easy Water. It is an electronic device that is supposed to take the place of a salt-type water softener. And of course, they claim it is much better. Have you any experience with this product? We have had a salt-type softener since the house was built 42 years ago and are on our second one. It will possibly need to be replaced in the not too distant future. We are looking for the best replacement.
Andy, Imlay City
Dear Andy: I am familiar with the Easy Water product. Before you make a decision, I suggest you contact Jamie Reynolds at Reynolds Water Conditioning, (800) 572-9575, www.reynoldswater.com, in Farmington Hills. We talked to Jamie on my radio show about Easy Water and he can explain it in more detail and inform you of what his company has to offer. His company has been around since 1931 and they offer many alternatives when it comes to salt-free water.
