Emergency Restoration can check for mold
Dear Glenn: Last April, while we were on vacation, the valve below our toilet tank in our upstairs bathroom cracked and sprayed water for five days before being discovered. The contractor hired by the insurance company brought in seven dehumidifiers and 25 fans, and declared that all the mold was eliminated. During the last five months, everything has been repaired or replaced, and we are now back in the house. One room under the stairs contains all of our Christmas boxes. The contractor said the water did not get in that part of the lower level, so all those boxes remained in their place. However, whenever I open the door to that room, I notice an odor that wasn't there before. My neighbors said you know of a company that will come in and test our home for mold, and give a certificate if the home is free of mold. Will you please share with me the name of that company?
