PEX is an excellent choice for new water lines

Dear Glenn: I have galvanized water pipes in my home and want to replace them. Can you recommend a company that would install PEX water lines? I am assuming that they would be less costly to install than copper.

Dear George: You belong in the front row of the home improvement class.

Installing PEX is a really good decision. Here are a couple of plumbers to call: Plumbing Professors, (800) 654-1300, www.plumbingprofessors.com, and Rooter MD, (877) 646-5445, www.rootermd.com.
