Avoid redirecting clothes dryer to heat home

Dear Glenn: I know that you should not vent a gas clothes dryer into the home to use the heat, but what about an electric clothes dryer? There are products available at ACE Hardware and such for redirecting lost heat back into the house.

Dear Tom: I would not advise you to re-direct the heat from any type of dryer back into your home. Any clothes dryers venting system should be directed out of the home.
